Impol: First Results of the Decarbonisation Strategy

Impol Group took its first steps in implementing the decarbonisation strategy adopted at the beginning of the year. Our clear goal: to reduce CO₂ emissions per tonne of aluminium by 58% by 2030 compared to 2021.

Key achievements in 2024:

  • CO₂ emissions reduced by 7.2%,

  • emission intensity lowered to 9.99 t CO₂e per tonne of aluminium,

  • 5% share of renewable electricity achieved,

  • 11% share of low-carbon ingots (< 4 t CO₂e/t Al) reached.

Despite challenges in sourcing input materials, we remain committed to a sustainable transition. The aluminium of the future will be low-carbon, renewable, and competitive.
