At the end of June 2004, magazine Gospodarski vestnik introduced the biggest 300 companies in Slovenia.

Considering its revenues, Impol took 20th spot, while a year before it was still placed 22nd.

Revenues rose by 23 percent. The highest positions were taken by Petrol, Revoz, and Mercator.

According to net profit, we are placed five spots higher than the year before. Comparing to 2002, our net profit increased by 10.6 percent and we were placed 55th.

The first three spots are taken by Holding slovenskih elektrarn, followed by Lek and Krka. According to our capital, we were placed 40th in 2003. As far as profit per employee, amounting to 1.2 million tolars, we are placed 117th.

According to the Agency of the RS for public and legal records and services, there are 5,011 companies operating in the region of Podravje and together, they made 25.1 billion tolars of net profit last year, which is by three billion less than the profit realized in the pharmaceutical company Lek alone. Impol is still the leading company in Podravje in this is one of the reasons, why municipality of Slovenska Bistrica is ranked 2nd by its economic development, following Maribor.
