On 16th July, Peter Ključar, leading critic of BVQI, reviewed reports on abolition of eleven unsuitabilities, established during the main evaluation of the ISO 9001:2000 system with special demands applying to the serial production and production of spare parts in the car industry according to ISO TS 16949. According to Tomaž Smolar, manager of the Quality unit, recognition that all the established unsuitabilities within the car industry must be removed from both external and internal judgements. This precision makes it a good argument that the system of quality assurance for the car industry will be used in all other production processes, as well. We managed to get rid of unsuitabilities within the set period of time, while Stanka Kamenik, Manager of the Quality sector, Marina Jelen, technologist in the Foundry programme unit, and Ida Kverh, technologist in the Tubes programme unit guaranteed for the documents and reports. Marina Jelen and Ida Kverh were also named representatives of purchasers.
Peter Ključar, the leading critic, forwarded documents about the present situation and report on certificate evaluation in Impol to the BVQI office in Ljubljana. The office then forwarded the report to the international car association IATF, where a so-called veto auditor, who is in power to suspend issuing the above-mentioned certificated, will review it again. According to an expert, such difficulties should not occur, so we can expect the ISO TS 16949 certificate to arrive to Impol within next days. Majority of car-industry products is constructed in the “tubes” programme unit, thus evaluation in this sector was rather extensive. |
