System

Our occupational health and safety management system derives from the OHSAS 18001 standard and has been combined with the ISO 9001 quality system and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
The introduction of the occupational health and safety management system in compliance with the OHSAS 18001 standard began as early as 1999 by observing the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ZVZD, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/99).

The basic activities of the occupational health and safety management system include:

    • informing and raising awareness among personnel on safe work,
    • promoting a healthy lifestyle,
    • regular safe work trainings,
    • monitoring sick leave and carrying out annual prevention discussions with personnel that are often on sick leave,
    • monitoring and reporting personnel accidents and incidents,
    • remunerating personnel and motivating them to work in a more prudent manner, co-financing the Impol Health Promotion Association.
