Impol manufactures circles and stamped shapes with specific properties that can be subject to further treatment by the following methods: deep drawing, spinning and subsequently enamelling or teflonising. Technological knowledge enables us to advise semi-finished goods users which chemical composition and properties should be selected so as to meet and exceed their expectations.

Impol has a wide range of disc manufacturing dies and continues to develop new ones with users. Prudent maintenance helps tolerances of our products meet the wishes and needs of our customers.

Circles are manufactured from 1000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 8000 series alloys. Soft, half-hard, and hard tempers that can also be combined with deep drawing ability are also available. Their mechanical properties comply with standards and can, if need be, be fully customised to the customer’s wishes.

Circles properties

Intended uses

Our circles can be reprocessed by means of deep drawing or spinning. They are also applied for:

  • deep drawing manufacturing of household containers,
  • double bottoms in household containers,
  • the manufacturing of pressure vessels,
  • the manufacturing of lighting fittings,
  • the manufacturing of satellite antennas.

Technological manufacturing process

Circles are manufactured from rolling slabs subject to hot rolling to the prescribed thickness. Cooling thereof is followed by cold rolling supported by additional operations such as in-process annealing and trimming. Cold rolling until the final thickness is attained is followed by stamping and final annealing. All these operations combined provide for the desired final circle shape, prescribed dimensions and quality.
