Personnel education

A progressive personnel is important for the progress of an organization. We devote a lot of attention to the development and education of employees. We stick to the saying: “Never be satisfied with where you are. It might happen that you stay there!” Impol is building its competitive advantage on the qualifications of its employees, who have the knowledge and are prepared to carry out everyday improvements on key parameters of Impol’s offer. The education and training plan is therefore an important and integral part of the annual plan of operations. It is based on established needs for qualified employees.

In cooperation with heads of units, we determine which personnel we need in the annual plan of operations (number, qualification and educational structure). It is important that we employ workers with medium technical education on key posts in production (press handling, rolling mill handling, founding) and pay special attention to their further qualification on the workplace.

Our goal is to preserve the educational and qualification structure of employees to attain the next goal:

  • Employees with university education, with higher education 8,5%,
  • Secondary school 25%,
  • Qualified workers 43%,
  • Semi-qualified workers 15%,
  • Un-qualified workers 9%.

The educational structure of employees is improving every year.

The company adopts a program of education and further qualifications of employees every year. The program is prepared in the form of a matrix for each employee and on the basis of needs of the unit, in which the employee works. The constituent part of the qualification program is the qualification of leading personnel with emphasis on leadership methods and techniques as well as efficiency establishment. Unit heads on lower levels are above all trained to be good in organizing work, for successful communication and conflict solving.

We consistently carry out the training of employees in occupational safety, fire safety, the handling with environment and other forms of training, determined by laws (lift truck management, lifting cranes, handling of gas devices, first aid course, unprofessional firefighters…).

Training on the workplace has an important place in the training program; with an emphasis on the role and responsibility an employee has, knowledge of contents and the course of activities, critical parameters, which affect the quality of the product. Emphasis is also laid on the knowledge of conditions for safe work. Through different forms of education, informing of employees about subjects, which concern ecology, we wish to raise the ecological awareness of employees in company Impol. We include employees, whose work has a considerable effect on the environment, into additional (chosen according to the topic) forms of education.

An important part of personnel development is also the planning of career for employees. Thus, we enable our employees to express their ambitions and develop their talents to the fullest.
