The management board of the company signed the first environmental policy in May 1999. By adopting this policy, the leadership bound itself to constant improvement and to the prevention of pollution, respect for and for the implementation of demands of the valid legislation, regulation and other demands. The environmental policy is the basis for operations in accordance with the demands of ISO 14001 standards and is also a foundation for goals in the area of environment protection.
Certificates
Impol received the certificate ISO 14001 in May 2000. The certificate is an internationally valid document, which confirms to clients, employees and the public that the entire operations of impol are harmonized with the demands of the ISO 14001 standard. The accredited certification house BVQI awarded the certificate. Through regular control and re-certification judgments, carried out by judges of the certification house BVQI, we confirm that our system for handling with the environment is appropriate, that it is carried out on all levels of impol’s operations and that we achieve constant improvements in the area of environment protection.
