ISO 9001

Impol’s quality management system is based on the ISO 9001 standard that the company was one of the first to acquire in Slovenia back in 1992 when the BVQI certification agency confirmed for the first time that our operations comply with the highest requirements of the international community. Our commitment to quality is being upgraded by constantly introducing continuous improvements to achieve higher business results. Regular control and recertification audits demonstrate that Impol complies with the set system.

ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is a new international standard for occupational safety and health management systems (it replaces the existing OHSAS 18001 standard that was acquired in Impol in December 2000). The certificate constitutes an internationally valid document that certifies to employees, customers, and the interested public that Impol takes systematic care of its employees’ health and safety and continuously improves the area. The certificate was awarded by the accredited BVQI certification agency. Regular monitoring and recertification audits carried out by auditors of the BVQL certification agency confirm that the occupational health and safety system is appropriate, implemented on all levels of activities and that all employees’ occupational health and safety have seen constant improvements.

ISO 14001

Guidelines about our environmental management system derive from the ISO 14001 certificate acquired by Impol in May 2000. The certificate that was also awarded by the BVQI certification agency demonstrates that Impol efficiently manages any environmental hazards and continuously adjusts to the requirements of our customers, markets, and the law. The system is subject to regular monitoring and upgraded with additional activities.

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is an international standard for the management of energy systems within organizations, designed to enhance energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and lower carbon emissions. In August 2023, Impol demonstrated its dedication to sustainable business practices by achieving ISO 50001 certification. This accomplishment allows us a greater understanding and control over our energy use and facilitates the more efficient utilization of our resources.

IATF 16949

The quality management certificate for the automotive industry was acquired in August 2004. The ISO/TS 16949 was awarded to Impol by the BVQI certification agency. The ISO/TS 16949 technical specifications complement the ISO 9001 quality standard with requirements for the automotive industry. Our processes are subject to continuous improvements, and our employees are motivated to apply continuous improvements and undertake correction and prevention measures. Our success is demonstrated by regular control and recertification audits.

EN 15088

The EN 15088 certificate was acquired in July 2012. It confirms that our products for the construction industry comply with Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011, which lays down the conditions under which construction products are marketed. This regulation also introduces harmonized requirements for declaring the performance of construction products and applying the CE marking. Therefore, the list of products that conform to this certificate keeps on growing according to the needs.

EN 9100

The EN 9100 certificate was acquired in March 2019. The certificate is an internationally valid document, vital for entering the aerospace industry. The certificate was awarded by the accredited DQS certification agency. The audit addressed fulfilling all the standard requirements, except for products for the aerospace industry, since we do not develop these products ourselves. The acquired certificate enables us to enter the demanding market of high-quality products for the aerospace industry. As the certificate holder, we are recognized in the OASIS information system, where all the information on our certified production program is available to potential buyers.

ASI Performance Standard

The Impol Group is extremely proud to have acquired the ASI Performance Standard as the first Slovenian company in August 2020. With this standard, we prove that we are a socially responsible company paying attention to our employees’ occupational health and safety, protecting the environment, and guaranteeing sustainable development. The standard proves that we are reducing the environmental impact, promoting recycling practices, and reducing the use of energy products. In addition, we have also implemented specific mechanisms allowing us to constantly improve our company’s sustainable operations.

PED certificate

Certificate for the established quality assurance system in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.
